Doyard

Doyard has been cultivating vineyards around Vertus, in the southernmost part of the Côte des Blancs, for 12 generations and has worked as a Récoltant-Manipulant (RM) for 4 generations.
The 11-hectare estate follows sustainable viticulture. Here, horses have long since replaced tractors.
Some of the vineyards are located in Grand Cru villages such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize and Cramant and Premier Cru commune Vertus.
Chardonnay is the main grape variety, with Doyard also growing some Pinot Noir on Ay for its reds and rosés.
The house produces about 50,000 bottles per year.
