From the moment he took over the family business in 1982, Eric Rodez wanted to treat his vineyards with the utmost care and gradually switched to organic and biodynamic methods.
Today, Eric and his son Mickaël farm six hectares of vineyards around the Ambonnay grand cru, where Pinot Noir and Chardonnay flourish.
As a former oenologist for Krug, Eric Rodez has a wealth of experience in blending. For his own champagnes, he ferments in oak barrels and stainless steel, allows some malolactic fermentation, some without, and blends different vintages.
The wines of Eric Rodez are characterized by their excellent balance and elegance .
