During the tasting we explain the production process of champagne, we give tips on how to taste champagne properly and of course we tell you everything about the champagnes that are tasted. We also serve various small bar bites such as charcuterie, oeuf mayonnaise, bread and olives.
A tasting lasts on average 2 to 2.5 hours with a maximum of 3 hours.
Tasting 1: Vignerons*
We will taste 5 champagnes and 1 coteaux champenois (still wine, without bubbles) from small, often unknown wineries. All with their own philosophy and style, which you can taste in the unique champagnes. During this tasting we have put together a selection of champagnes in which the different grapes can be tasted side by side. We also taste a rosé champagne, a vintage champagne and a coteaux champenois.
Tasting 2: Vignerons & Maisons*
In this tasting we discuss the differences between champagnes from small, independent wineries (vineyards or growers) and those from the big, well-known names (maisons). The maisons have had a major influence on the contemporary success of champagne and often have their own style with which they provide their customers with a very consistent product year after year. We taste a total of 6 champagnes and discuss the differences in production method and taste.
Tasting 3: Maisons*
It is no secret that we at l'Atelier are fans of small champagne wineries, but we appreciate the large, well-known wineries just as much! In this tasting we take you on a journey through champagne, maison style!
Please note that all tastings are subject to availability and may require advance booking. Join us on an unforgettable journey full of flavors and deepen your appreciation for the world of fine drinks. To reserve a date and consult prices please send us an email to info@latelierduchampagne.nl
