Fruity and complex blend made from pinot noir and chardonnay grapes from five to six consecutive vintages. Eighty percent is vinified in small wooden barrels, the vast majority do not undergo malolactic fermentation. 70% reserve wines.

The Rodez family has been active in Champagne for eight generations. From the moment he took over the family business in 1982, Eric Rodez wanted to handle his vineyards as carefully as possible and step by step he switched to organic and biodynamic working.

Eric and Martine Rodez currently manage six hectares of vineyards around the grand cru municipality of Ambonnay, where both Pinot Noir and Chardonnay flourish.

As a champagne maker for Krug, Rodez gained a lot of experience in blending. For his own champagnes he uses both small oak barrels and stainless steel, he partly does not allow malolactic fermentation, and he likes to blend a handful of different vintages.

Eric Rodez's champagnes are complex and layered, special sparkling wines to enjoy in peace - with a tasty snack.

In the meantime, the ninth generation is in the starting blocks: son Mickael Rodez is actively involved in this beautiful family business.
