Lacourte Godbillon
Her predecessors were champagne grape growers, after World World II her grandparents started making their own champagne, and in 1968 her parents joined their names to found domain Lacourte Godbillon. Géraldine Lacourte grew up with grapes. After a city career she returned to the family vineyards and took over the domain in 2006 with her husband Richard.
These days Géraldine and Richard work eight hectares of vineyards around premier cru village Écueil, in Montagne de Reims. Pinot noir covers 85% of the plantings, chardonnay takes up the additional part. With their small team, Richard and Géraldine work the vineyards hands on, without any use of pesticides or herbicides.
