Francis Orban's vineyards are located in the Marne Valley and cover 7.5 hectares divided into 29 plots. His winery is located in the Leuvrigny cru.
With a south/southeast exposure, the meuniers, which represent 90% of Francis Orban's production, mature in the best conditions. The soil is mainly limestone and sand, with some clay layers.
The Orban family has been producing champagnes since 1929. After completing his studies, grandson Francis Orban joined the family business in 1999; in 2007 he launched the brand that bears his name.
The estate has the HVE3 certificate (High Environmental Value) and the viticulture is respectful of the environment and biodiversity.
Francis Orban is a member of the Meunier Institut collective, a group of passionate winegrowers who promote the Meunier grape.
