The Robert family has been working in the Champagne vineyards for five generations. André Robert was the first to buy his own domain in 1960. In the grand cru municipality of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger is the family home where the underground passages were first filled in 1962 with bottles with the name André Robert on the label.

Granddaughter Claire has been part of the company that her father had taken over since 2013. Together with her husband Jean Baptiste Denizart, she is now responsible for the fourteen hectares of premier and grand cru vineyards that are mainly located around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, and are cultivated with HVE sustainability certification.
