La Borderie
In the southern most part of Champagne, Aube, sister and brother Marie and Simon own eleven hectares of vineyard, a family treasure they took over from their parents in 2013. One hectare is used to make their own champagne: the annual production is about 10.000 bottles. In addition to that they have two gites to welcome guests.
In the vineyard, where the focus is on biodiversity and sustainability, pinot noir, chardonnay and pinot blanc are planted. In cellar malolactic fermentation is allowed, oak aging is used for just part of the wine.
La Borderie champagnes have a fruity character and they are wonderfully accessible. Precision and constant research of the right taste defines the House. They are making terroir wines.
