About La Borderie

In the southernmost part of Champagne, Aube, sister and brother Marie, and Simon own eleven hectares of vineyards, a family treasure they inherited from their parents in 2013. One hectare is used to make their own champagne: annual production is approximately 10,000 bottles. They also have two gites to welcome guests.

The vineyard, which focuses on biodiversity and sustainability, grows Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Pinot Blanc. Malolactic fermentation is permitted in the cellar, but only a portion of the wine is aged in oak.

La Borderie's champagnes have a fruity character and are wonderfully accessible. Precision and constant research into the perfect flavor are the hallmarks of the house. They make terroir wines.
