About this bottle

Camille was the wife of Léon Olry-Roederer. After her husband's death, she led the champagne house between 1932 and 1975. She ensured the financial stability of the house, which was one of the few profitable champagne houses after the Second World War. She also acquired numerous vineyards, mainly in the Premier and Grand Crus, and improved the quality of the champagne.

Today, the Roederer family and House Roederer want to pay tribute to this great lady. Therefore, two wines have been produced, a red from Pinot Noir and a white from Chardonnay.

Hommage à Camille blanc 2020 is made from the only plot of Volibarts (0.54 hectares).

About Louis Roederer

Louis Roederer owns 250 hectares of vineyards and emphasizes soil quality, passion, and tradition. All their vineyards are certified organic or biodynamic.
The house produces high-quality and renowned cuvées such as Cristal or the Collection.

Louis Roederer is now led by the seventh generation of the Rouzaud family and by cellar master and agronomist Jean-Baptiste Lecaillon (since 1999). It is one of the last major independent estates in the Champagne region.
