About Bollinger

Bollinger was founded in 1829 by Henri Bollinger. Today, Bollinger owns over 180 hectares of vineyards (including a large number of Grands Crus and Premiers Crus) and sources grapes.

The company is still family-owned and is not part of a large group. Bollinger is known for producing champagnes with a predominant Pinot Noir content, which are primarily vinified in oak barrels, giving them a vinous character and good aging potential. Another Bollinger hallmark is that its reserve wines are stored in corked magnums.
