About Doyard

For 12 generations, Doyard has cultivated vineyards around Vertus, in the southernmost part of the Côte des Blancs, and has been a Grower-Manipulant (RM) for four generations. The 11-hectare estate practices sustainable viticulture. Horses have long since replaced tractors here.

Some of the vineyards are located in Grand Cru villages such as Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, and Cramant, as well as in the Premier Cru commune of Vertus. Chardonnay is the main grape variety; Doyard also grows some Pinot Noir in Ay for its red and rosé wines. The estate produces approximately 50,000 bottles annually.
