In 1952, Taittinger launched the top cuvée Comtes de Champagne, a champagne that is only produced in very good vintages. Made from chardonnay from grand cru communes in the Côte des Blancs, such as Avize, Cramant and Mesnil-sur-Oger, this champagne is a pleasure to taste.

Comtes de Champagne is a rich, elegant champagne with beautifully ripe flavours: blossom on the nose, ripe white fruit and a hint of toast. A festive and delicious champagne.

About Taittinger

Taittinger, located in Reims, is one of the region's historic Champagne houses. Vitalie Taittinger, daughter of Pierre Emmanuel Taittinger, has been at the helm of the family business since 2020. The house is known for its consistent quality and a style in which Chardonnay plays a prominent role, with approximately 40 percent of its vineyards being planted.

The Comtes de Champagne cuvées are among the house's most prestigious wines. They are produced exclusively during good vintages and are aged for extended periods in the cellar. The result is refined and complex, with elegance and aging potential as clear signatures.
