About La Borderie

In the southernmost part of Champagne, Aube, sister and brother Marie and Simon own eleven hectares of vineyard, a family treasure that they took over from their parents in 2013. One hectare is used to make their own champagne: annual production is approximately 10,000. bottles. They also have two gites to welcome guests.

In the vineyard, where the focus is on biodiversity and sustainability, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc are planted. Malolactic fermentation is permitted in the cellar, but oak aging is used for only part of the wine.

La Borderie's champagnes have a fruity character and are wonderfully accessible. Precision and constant research into the right taste characterize the house. They make terroir wines.
