About Lacourte Godbillon

The Champagne Lacourte-Godbillon estate, located in Écueil in the Montagne de Reims region, covers 8 hectares, all of which are fully certified organic and biodynamic. It was created through the merger of Géraldine's parents' family estates and was developed with the support of the local cooperative.

After a career in marketing and industrial sales, Géraldine and Richard took over the estate in 2008, having completed a degree in viticulture and oenology in 2007. They became self-employed in 2012 and converted to organic farming in 2017 and biodynamic farming in 2022. Their work focuses on enhancing biodiversity through sheep, green manure, trees, hedgerows, and nesting boxes.
