Deutz was founded in 1838 by William Deutz and Pierre Hubert Geldermann and is located in Aÿ, near Épernay. The first harvest was harvested as early as 1839. Since then, the house has become a fixture in Champagne, with a style that remains true to its origins.

In 1959, the Brut Classic was first produced, and it remains a key cuvée in the range today. Deutz champagnes are known for their elegance and finesse, with a dry style and a refined mineral character that makes them both exceptionally accessible and stylish.
