About this bottle

A delicious and expressive Blanc de Noirs from the 2022 harvest. The Pinot Noir juices come from a plot in the Côte des Bar, in Chervey (brown soil on Portlandian limestone), and are fermented in barrels, after which they are aged on the lees for 11 months.

'Prune Monsieur' refers to a round plum with melting flesh that was enjoyed by Philippe d'Orléans, brother of Louis XIV. This cuvée is reminiscent of red berries, plums and wild violets.

About M. Lefébure

Marie Laurène Lefébure is a historian and a graduate of the Sorbonne, but ultimately chose a life in the vineyard. Driven by her passion for winemaking, she returned to Champagne. Together with her husband, Sébastien Lefébure, whom she met at the viticultural college in Avize, she manages five hectares in the Coteaux du Petit Morin, between Sézanne and Épernay, supplemented by several plots in the Côte des Bar.

Their approach is sustainable and rooted in tradition. In the vineyard, they encourage biodiversity and work with respect for the soil and environment. In the cellar, they minimize interventions, ensuring their champagnes reflect the terroir purely and honestly.
