About Coessens

In the south of the Aube, in Ville-sur-Arce, Jérôme and Valérie Coessens run the Largillier vineyard. The estate encompasses approximately six hectares and is situated on kimmeridge soils reminiscent of Chablis. When Jérôme took over the family vineyard in 2006 and began producing champagne under his own name, he discovered how much nuance can be achieved within a single plot.

Today, he distinguishes different parts of Largillier using terms like mineral, fruit, substance, and floral. This precision translates into champagnes with character and depth. Wines that not only convince on their own but also excel at being served at the table.
