About Georges Remy

After studying oenology, Georges Remy worked for a time in Bordeaux, where he developed his love of red wine. Back in Champagne, he took over the family estate and began producing Bouzy Rouge, a still red wine, in 2011. Since 2014, he has also been producing Champagne from his vineyards in the southern Montagne de Reims.

Remy manages over four hectares, with Pinot Noir as his primary grape. He harvests as late as possible to achieve maximum ripeness and concentration. His champagnes are aromatic and powerful, with plenty of structure and complexity, clearly displaying the signature of a winemaker with a penchant for depth.
