About Coessens

In the south of the Aube, in Ville-sur-Arce, Jérôme and Valérie Coessens farm a vineyard called Largillier: approximately six hectares with soil rich in kimmeridge, similar to that of Chablis. When he took over the family vineyard in 2006 and began producing champagne under the Coessens name, Jérôme noticed that the vineyard could be divided. Coessens now describes the characteristics of the different parts of the plot using the terms "mineral," "fruit," "substance," and "flower."

Coessens champagnes have character and are a perfect accompaniment to a meal.
