About Drappier

Champagne Drappier is a family-owned winery in the Côte des Bar, in the Aube region, headed by Michel Drappier. The family has been cultivating its vineyards around Urville since 1808. Today, the estate comprises over 50 hectares of its own vineyards, supplemented by approximately 40 hectares under contract. Pinot Noir dominates here, complemented by Chardonnay and Meunier, plus several rare, old grape varieties that add character.

Michel Drappier strives for authenticity and purity in his wines. He vinifies with respect for tradition, yet with an eye for detail and refinement. No unnecessary tricks, but precision and craftsmanship. His champagnes are powerful and honest, with a clear signature of terroir and history.
