About this bottle

The cider is fermented in the cellar at Verzy and matures there for up to a year in oak barrels. The second fermentation takes place in the bottles, using the natural sugars from the apples. The cider ages for at least 12 months on its lees before being released to the market.

A small production of dry cider, matured in the same way as fine white and sparkling wines.

About Cidrerie de Verzy

Cidrerie de Verzy was founded in 2021 as a collaborative project by five winemaking friends: Quentin Paillard, Flavien Nowack, Adrien Renoir, Antoine Bouvet, and Bertrand Lapie. What began as a shared passion has grown into a serious cider project, with the same precision and attention they apply to their champagnes.

The focus is on high-quality cider, made according to winemaking principles rather than traditional cider methods. The apples and pears are sourced from old trees in Champagne and Normandy and are organically grown. The result is pure, refined, and gourmet, with a balance of freshness and structure.
