Guenin
Guenin has 5 hectares of organic vineyards in Essoyes (all vines are in the municipality) in the Côte des Bar.
All wines are made as naturally as possible (native yeasts, no filtration or fining) to respect the terroir.
The entire vinification process is carried out in oak barrels, from harvest to bottling (alcoholic fermentation and malo in barrel).
Sébastien returned to the family estate in 2013, but the first champagne harvest took place in 2015 (before that the family did not produce champagne).
Sébastien studied at the Lycée Viticole in Beaune and through his internships and meetings with other winemakers, he always knew he wanted to vinify the family's vines. Axelle, his wife, also works on the property and is involved in communications and marketing. Their wines are precise, delicious and can be enjoyed at any time of the day.
