Franck Pascal
From the start, in the early nineties, Franck Pascal was convinced he wanted to produce champagne as natural as possible and with as little human intervention as possible.
Taking away all pesticides and herbicides was the first step: in 2002 the domain received its organic certification. Experiment with biodynamics and innovation was the next step. Nowadays Franck Pascal and his wife Isabelle have special nutritional preparations made, specifically for each vineyard.
Franck Pascal with its seven hectares of land, is located in Baslieux-sous-Châtillon, on the northern bank of the Marne river. With sixty percent of the plantings meunier is the most important grape variety, pinot noir and chardonnay in even parts make up the rest.
Franck Pascal's champagnes are fruity yet dry, a great addition to the dinner table.
