About Pol Roger

The champagne house Pol Roger released its first wines in 1849. From the outset, Pol Roger captivated an English audience that appreciated the brut style. Various Pol Roger cuvées were served at royal receptions, as well as at the Élysée Palace in France during political gatherings.

In 1975, the Winston Churchill cuvée was created as a tribute to the famous politician Winston Churchill, who declared Pol Roger to be his favorite champagne. Today, Pol Roger owns approximately 92 hectares of vineyards throughout the Champagne region, planted with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Meunier.
