About this bottle

The cuvée 'Mon Village' is a tribute to Le Mesnil sur Oger, the birthplace of Paul and his family. This cuvée brings together the different soil types of the village, with soils consisting of colluvium and soils with exposed chalk.

This cuvée is vinified in oak barrels, with a perpetual reserve, to bring out as much of the terroir as possible.

The Chardonnay is full and ripe, with a chiseled mouth typical of Mesnil sur Oger.

About Girard-Bonnet

The Girard-Bonnet estate vineyard covers 12 hectares, located primarily in the Côte des Blancs, with its cellar in Mesnil-sur-Oger. The vineyards are situated in villages classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru in the Côte des Blancs, renowned for their high-quality Chardonnays.

In 2023, Paul's vineyard received organic and biodynamic certification. The winemaking process reflects the estate's belief that good wine begins with healthy grapes. The winemaker experiments extensively, using barrels of various sizes, made of wood or stainless steel, as well as amphorae. Each cuvée is unique!
