Orders via l'Atelier du Champagne are shipped via bottle post in cooperation with PostNL. At the bottom of this page you will find an overview of the rates & countries.

You can also have your order prepared in the atelier. Pick up is available 5 days a week from 12:00 til 17:30.

What is the delivery time?

We strive to have your order delivered to PostNL within 48 hours on working days. PostNL is market leader in package delivery. In 98% of cases, your package will arrive at its destination within 48 hours, at a private or business address, post box, or business address. 

Not home?

If a package cannot be delivered to you Tuesday through Saturday, a second delivery attempt will be made. The date and time of the 2nd delivery depends on the day of the 1st delivery. If you are not home for the second delivery either, the postal worker will leave a card in your mailbox telling you where you can pick up the shipment. The package will be held at the post office for 3 days.

Has my package already been sent or delayed?

Are you registered? Then you can use your account to track your order status. If your order status in your account is 'shipped' but you have not yet received it, it is best to wait a few more working days. In rare cases, it will take PostNL a few days to deliver your order instead of 24 hours. Still haven't received your order 3 working days after it's been shipped? Please contact our customer service team. Please provide us with your order number so we can help you as quickly as possible.

Right to cancel

You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire,or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good. To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us L'Atelier du Champagne, Rokin 91A 1012KL Amsterdam [email protected]. +31 6 19577751 of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of cancel before the cancellation period has expired. Effects of cancellation If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Returns

Of course we want you to be satisfied, and we hope the extensive product information we've provided on this website will make that possible. Consumers have 14 calendar days after receipt of the order to return it. If you are not satisfied with your order you can return it to us. Upon return of your complete order, you will receive the full amount paid back on the account you have paid, including shipping costs. However, the buyer is responsible for the cost of returning your order. To return a product, we will send you a return label with the special return address and your personal return number pre-printed on it.

Excluded from the right of return are personalised products, for example products that have been engraved or printed. Of course, the items must be in undamaged condition and unopened. Because specific storage conditions are necessary to keep vintage champagnes in good condition, these drinks cannot be returned. We will not accept insufficient or unstamped returns. If you return an item outside the set conditions, the payment obligation will not lapse.
